On May 22nd 2018, NAS Airport Services celebrated its 70th anniversary. An event celebrated in the presence of Alexis FRANTZ, CEO of Servair and Richard OMWELA, President of NAS Servair, alongside the Director of the establishment, Eric Rouvillois.
The day’s programme included a press conference, a lunch buffet to highlight the culinary expertise of its teams and a performance by the unit’s choir accompanied by a children’s orchestra from KIBERA.
“We think about the NAS employees who started the adventure here 70 years ago and all those who are with us today, as dedicated and committed as ever to our customers” says Stéphane LOPEZ, Operations Manager of the unit.
NAS Airport Services was founded in 1949 and joined Servair in 2010. It is one of the largest catering centres in Africa. For 70 years, NAS has provided international and local airlines with fully integrated catering services, from preparation to loading and unloading.
NAS Airport Services Ltd operates in 3 airports (Nairobi, Mombasa and Kisumu), has 1,400 employees and produces 18,000 meals per day.
